Testing Correction

Using an option test light (Radio Shack TM model # 272-1100) and attach to probes. Carry the receiver to the boundary wire. When beep changes from warning tone to correction tone, the test light should light. If not, see “Return Procedure”.

Pet does not appear to receive correction?

Trim hair in the area of the probes to insure contact.
Use long probes.

Pet ignores correction and runs through system

Reinforce training
Increase signal area (usually set transmitter range knob to emit a signal 4-6 feet from wire loop).
Check batteries, weak batteries can weaken correction.
